Thanks to
The Meadows Foundation for its generous three-year gift for initial
funding for the Texas Nonprofit Management Assistance Network. During
the last twenty-four years, The Meadows Foundation has been instrumental in
establishing and supporting the work of nonprofit resource centers and
programs.
The SBC
Foundation, the Houston
Endowment, and the RGK
Foundation have awarded operating and project grants to help support
the Network office. On an annual basis,
Carneiro, Chumney, & Co., L.C.,
has provided in-kind support and expertise to the Network. The investment of these partners has been critical
in helping the Network begin its work.

Today’s Highlight
August 27, 2010
After eleven
years of operation,
the Network board has decided
to close the Network on
September 15, 2010 due to
ongoing operational funding
challenges. Established with an
initial grant from the Meadows
Foundation, the Network has
provided capacity building
services to its members
and statewide projects for
the Texas nonprofit sector.
The Network
staff will work
through September 15, 2010.
After that date, Rose Mary Fry
will complete several project
grants and consulting projects
as an independent consultant.
The Network
board and staff
appreciated the support of its
funders, members, and partners. In the
coming months, the OneStar
Foundation will pick up
the mission of the Network.
