efficient email system and phone systems to current computers and networks,
nonprofit organizations are challenged on a daily basis with learning and using
technology.

Network members provide various technology services for Texas nonprofit
organizations:
Computer Application Training – The
following members either have their own computer labs or partner with other
technology providers to teach the software applications most used by nonprofit
organizations. Courses on Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Access are
available. Check the Network website under workshops or the websites of the
following providers for course calendars and registration information:

Technology Services for Members
– The
Technology Manager provides technical support services to Network members via
phone, email, and in person. Key services include the assessment and evaluation
of current hardware and software needs, installation of computer hardware,
software and networks, and troubleshooting computer issues. On a limited basis,
the Technology Manager provides these services to nonprofit organizations in

Discounted Software Applications
– Compumentor,
a nonprofit technology consulting in San Francisco, provides multiple
technology services to the nonprofit community. They have partnerships with
Microsoft, Lotus, B2P, and Web Gecko in which nonprofit organizations can
purchase software at extremely discounted prices. For additional information,
